My family was beyond excited when we arrived in Orlando, Florida for our 10-day vacation.We were lucky enough to stay at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort and it was so much fun! The resort had a ’50s retro vibe that brought us back to the past as soon as we stepped foot into the lobby.

The first few days were all about exploring Universal Studios and Disney World – two places my siblings and I had been dreaming of visiting ever since we heard stories about them from our parents. We laughed with joy while riding roller coasters, meeting characters from beloved movies, experiencing amazing shows, shopping for souvenirs in different stores throughout both parks – there were just too many wonderful things happening!

On the fourth day our adventure took us to Seaworld where we got up close and personal with dolphins, sea lions, penguins; even stingrays. To make this experience even better my dad bought us each a plush orca toy that would sing whenever someone hugged it tightly (which of course happened quite often).

We spent time at the pool on some days simply relaxing under the sun while sipping on fruit smoothies or ice cream cones filled with delicious toppings like rainbow sprinkles and mini marshmallows. On other days my mom took us out for dinner at fancy restaurants nearby which weren’t only tasty but also gave me a chance to dress up in beautiful dresses she helped me pick out beforehand.

Overall, it felt like an eternity being away from home yet every second of it was worth living because I’d get to cherish those memories forever more! Our family vacation turned out perfectly thanks to everyone involved making sure everything went smoothly – especially my parents who did their best planning such an incredible itinerary during our stay in Orlando, Florida!
